Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 was a really good game overall, but, when it comes to Full Burst, other than the additions listed above, the game still feels around the same. The online still seems to play just as smooth and the story is still just as appealing - the story mode itself last for a quite a while and it's nice to have an extra chapter for Full Burst. Aside from the extra character, all the rest of the character move lists remain the same. There were no changes made to the actual gameplay. A problem I have with the new costumes is that the popular characters get most of the outfits while the other characters are only stuck with one or two outfits. The costumes were mainly distributed in the DLC packs that were available for the original game but now they are all included. Full Burst has 100 extra missions and a total of 38 new costumes. The story mode is the best part of the game, so it's great to see a new addition to it! Some of the cutscenes in the game have now been enhanced - my problem with this is that I don't really care to go back and see the enhancements since I finished the majority of the game with Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, but it's nice for those that are experiencing the game for the first time. Sasuke and Itachi take on Kabuto in the new chapter that is included in Full Burst. One character isn't all that much for an expanded edition, but Ultimate Ninja Storm already had around 80+ characters to begin with, so it really doesn't need anymore. The demon form of Kabuto has different attacks when compared to his human form and he has his own unique ultimate jutsu attack. He is on the top portion of the character select screen and is unlocked from the start. The new character that is added is the demon form of Kabuto. Full Burst adds in many new extras such as a new character, a new chapter, enhanced cutscenes, 100 extra missions and a total of 38 costumes.

Full Burst also uses the same trophies that were in the original game.Įven though I was newcomer to Naruto anime and manga and the overall Naruto series of games, I quickly liked what I saw in the original Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Full Burst uses the same save file that was in Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 so if you still have your old save from the original version, you can jump into Full Burst and pick up where you left off. With the retail version all of the DLC is already on disc. Full Burst can be bought as a retail game with Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 or it can be purchased as DLC to add to your original copy of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.
